Gonna try to start a helpful thread for anyone lookin at rare type wheels. Post a pic of a wheel, hopefully some of the wheel guru's can state what wheel it is. If the thread succeeds, great. If it fails, I dont care, just as long as someone answers my questions

i like this idea, great for people like me who know nothing! no idea if these are "rare" wheels, but i dont know what they are, im sure for you guys they will be easy to name. Always wondered what these are

Yep Sean's right. I believe those came stock on the SL500's. You can find reps of them, but you'll have to do some searching as they arent easy to come by. Sexy sexy wheel

There are usually a few sets on vortex at all times, i have found a few sets every time i was looking. However the asking price is not always super attractive or they have bad curb rash. Hard to find a good set for a reasonable price is more like it.

I was talking more about its hard to find a brand new set of reps. The price of the reps is more attractive than the curb rashed vortex sets, but its hard to find a place that sells them. Definitely have seen them go on Vortex in good condition for a decent price, but its not too often.

I hate Alphards... and too many of the MK6 people on Vortex run them. These are just as bad as Sawblades IMO

Well I am not sure who makes them and if they are available under any other name but those wheels are from B&B Automobiltechnik in Germany and are called the B12.

Digging deeper, looks like they are made by Caractere and called the CW1.
