European 7 seater Suv's ?

Looking for a 7 seater. Don't wanta go the van route . Volvo xc90 and Audi q7.. What else ??

BMW X5s have the third row seating option.
I'm pretty sure Mercedes ML and GL classes had the third row option as well.

If you're going the new route I'd hold off on the Volvo, I believe a new model is coming out for 2014.

I have both the Q7 and the X5. The Q7 is quite a bit larger than the X5, but it is extremely difficult to fit adults in the 3rd row with both Suv's. I love both cars. if your interested, you could probably stop by my place sometime and compare them. both great cars.

Took out a used xc90 and the rear row didn't have child seat tethers. Not sure if the new ones are the same, or if that matters.

going to look at an xc90 tomorrow to check it out -ill check for tethers -I figured they would be do for a redesign soon but I like the built in boosters tho... Not a fan of mercs - will check out bwm -Kinda looking to stay under $ 50,000.
Lot more options for asia vehicles unfortantanly.. and wife will not get a domestic ..or me for that matter .. ha ha.

Our ragtag crew of misfits run with the XC90 and we absolutely love it.

Whoever designed that vehicle definitely had a family. So much room, even with the third row up.

I can't vouch for the booster seat tethers though... I can vouch for the smooth V6 though I'd opt for the punchier V8 if gas is of no relevance to you.

50k will buy you a fairly nice X5 from what I see on kijiji. Also for added torque & fuel mileage, diesel is an option with the X5... I'm also partial to BMWs

Ya 7 seat capacity is mandatory , kids and there friends are at that age, my family lives outta province also so taking two cars when they visit sucks. I am glad that Polestar has teamed up with Volvo be interesting what else they bring out

I've posited my 7 seater with limited success in the past but I still really dig it so here goes:



Durango RT with the Hemi. Same platform as the ML/GL, drives very well for a giant assed tank, nice inside and well equiped will tow a lot (if that's your thing), awesome V8 muscle car noises from your grocery getter/soccer mobile. Fuel economy? Erm....well it does get some KMs per liter of fuel.
