My approach was to join s2forum.com and troll ebay.co.uk for good deals on euro parts. I'm sure you can find some similar forums and vendors if you poke around.

Re: Anyone know how to source parts from the uk?

I have bought a bunch of parts from ebay uk, just contact the seller first to see if they are willing to ship international, I've found that even with shipping many items are cheaper than local stores.

I have been meaning to get a bunch of parts for my van from the UK. Shipping always scares me though and I would need someone to forward it from the UK.

Re: Anyone know how to source parts from the uk?

Well small parts from dealerships I could probably walk over and grab as I know where the local dealership is and pop them in the mail if anyone is after anything particular. The problem with larger parts is shipping of course and that I also have no car, so it is not easy for me to collect things to forward on, however I might be able to serve as a middle man to help facilitate deals. With Andrew flying over a few times perhaps we could even store up some stuff and have him bring them back??

yeah the problem was that most of the ebay sellers would not ship overseas.

Is it possible to have stuff stopped at the post office so you just need to forward them from there?

I do not think that is possible, but the post office is not too far away (had to line up to send Christmas parcels today) so it would really depend on what it is and the size. Boxes over a certain size cannot go normal post either which raises the price considerably as I can also confirm after today, they can still be sent from a post office just go into the parcel system. Thus it really depends what you are after but I am happy to help as best I can, I can even bid on eBay for people if they want.

I contacted sellers directly even if the ebay post showed shipping to UK only, 70-80% said they'd ship international at exact postage cost.

well if you happen to trip over a set of e28 euro bumpers while walking around, grab them for me! i guess they would be considered domestic bumpers over there though
you probably don't like me because someone else said they didn't lol. <3

Not the case when shipping euro rebar. That plus how rare it actually pops up on eBay.
