Can anyone recommend a home-based accountant or bookkeeper to help with a very small business?
Went to an accounting firm this week and was quoted $2000 to help with Alberta incorporation and $4-$5000 for the year's taxes and setting up salary for myself, deductions etc.
Those might be good/standard rates but I just can't afford them, I'm thinking maybe instead of going to a bigger firm with their overhead I can find someone who works at home or on the side to do better. Any recommendations? Anyone know someone like this?
I also don't want to do it all myself, actually have been doing this myself and think it's been going kind of shitty
