i have already been in several rides in pats .:R32, and driven it and it is more than enough power for me, for now atleast :P. As for the s4's i have only been in ryans pacman which was alot of fun haha. but never been in a stock s4. If i was to get an s4, i would really want an avant, but as you guys say they are pretty hard to find.

it doesnt really matter if i end up with a 2 door or 4 door, i would almost prefer a coupe because it would be a nice change from what i have now and also i rarely use my back seats now (other than storage and the occasional human).

They're not SUPER hard to find, you just have to import it from the States as it was never sold in Canada.

TT and R32 are identical drivetrains if you get the 3.2.

If you do go for the B5, make sure its been well maintained or else it will eat your wallet mighty quick.

            Edit: 30 seconds of searching

this brought up a good point too haha, i need this to be a daily, i dont want to have the car sitting in my garage with me wacking things with a wrench all day, im not very expreienced with working on engines (although fully willing to learn and try), only things i have really done was my own intake, and aided with scotts stage 2 install. im not too worried about fuel efficiency though.

Meyers made me think of something. What about an A3 or A4 with a 2.0T? You can find those with manuals and with the stage 2, you know it'll go like hell haha. Not sure about the A3, but I'm pretty sure you could get the A4s with the 2.0T, Quattro, and 6 speed.

Whats your budget though? You're talking MK1 TT's and B5 S4's, a B7 A4 is going to be a decent amount more money

Thought so. I know Danny likes his 6 speed, but either of them with the S-Tronic (DSG) would be good too For the most part, the 2.0T FSI and TFSI engines are supposed to be pretty reliable. All you really need to look out for is carbon buildup and the cam follower

                          ftfy haha :P

and who mentioned the b7??? thats way to expensive, i am probly going to be looking around the 15k mark.

i havent really looked into the pricing of the b5's or the a3s but for the most part i know i can get a decent R for that much.

Pat, I said that, not him lol. I never look at the prices of B7s or A3s, so I didn't know they were that much more. Either way, I still vote R.

And it's no hard to find an R for $15k in the States
