The Caesar is more a Canadian drink but it really depends on the clamato juice as that is the part that is not available in most places, although I did see it in the food section of a high end department store here, the same place that was selling Kraft Dinner for over 3 pounds a box, something that is also hard to find here.
I do think Chinese food is extremely regionalized and the food in Calgary is very different than a lot of places and there just seems to be so much variation when you eat Chinese food in Vancouver, LA, London, Hong Kong or Berlin that you get used to a particular style. My wife and I loved Calgary Chinese and have had problems finding anything we like here so far that is enjoyable and reasonably priced, we had local take away one night and got a lot of dishes and they pretty much all tasted the same.
