Opinions on Snowcatxx87

Snowcatxx87 is a motor biker who video tapes his daily rides in calgary and points out various "bad drivers". he was mentioned on x92.9 and i checked him out on youtube.

Personally i like what he is doing, He is kind of a d*ck when things happen, but i would too if it was my safety being put at risk. Im sure we all see the sh*tty drivers in calgary but it seems to happen a lot more to people on bikes. A girl i know almost hit him in one of his videos and he flipped her the bird and swore at her (again, i would too if i was almost hit). She thinks he is a complete a**hole and shouldn't be putting this on the internet.

what are your guys' thoughts?

He also used to post on here... 'bit' of a dumbass.

ScatXX (some number) I believe was his username.. he had some older 3 series with a tinted windshield.

from the video i saw he almost hit someone. douche move even though hes got right of way. Gotta say though, his headlights have a nice bright beam and sharp cutoff.

Saw the vid...Sorry Andrew, but calling someone out publicly is one thing. Doing it by breaking the law yourself...moron in my view.

some of the videos are hilarious though.. its not like he's hunting for these things.. he just runs into them..

like if I recorded my commutes I could almost do the same.. this week some assface in a van on deerfoot had only a back window for a breaklight on a newer minivan too! like you deserve to get rear ended you ass face and in the end the rear ender will get charged not your ass for not having working lights

or people downtown jaywalking

I saw 2 firetrucks coming down 5th yesterday about 730AM and some lady runs through the parked traffic and the damn firetruck went through the hole and missed her by seriously 5 feet!!! I yelled at her from the sidewalk you stupid ***** your going to die!!!

The guy is such an a$$, but I love it.

Makes some pretty risky maneuvers in some of the video's, also seems to like to tailgate.

I like his thought behind it, but to be able to call people out like this you need to have a spick and span clean record as well as drive completely legally yourself. If you disobey the laws you are no better than the other people on the road that you are calling out. I'm sure half the dash board video cams in calgary will catch this guy doing illegal driving maneuvers same as he is recording them...

i think he is a douche but i do like that he points out things that i see cops ignore. i should add that i hate the cops too. they are lazy.

i would like to be a contract ticket writer. i would slaughter the police quota every day and maybe actually send a message to morons. that message would not be "do as we say, not as we do", cps.

I agree with him to a point. though being a douche there are so many people in Calgary that are 10x's worse. who do something even more illegal then that and decidedly flip you the bird for getting in their way of doing it. moving from a small city to Calgary was a big driving habit change, people in Calgary need a shock to their driving styles before it gets any bigger.
