2002 audi S4 full stage 3 s605 mods listed below, car is listed on audizine, California car currently residing in Ontario (only been there for a year and a half)

Tial 605 turbos (installed last Summer at 148000 km)
Tial Inlet Pipes
EPL Tuning (still has one or two more revisions to do before it is completed. EPL will finish the tuning for the new owner)
ER side mount intercoolers with Carbon Fiber shrouds
Spec Stage 3 clutch with all new bearings
Brand new OEM dual mass flywheel
Brand new Valve cover gaskets
034 3" downpipes
034 3" High Flow catalytic coverters
Borla catback system
Bosch 72 lb injectors
EPL Mass Air Flow Sensor
034 ICM delete and 2.0T coils
Stern engine mounts
Stern transmission mounts
Stern Snub mount
New water pump
New timing belt
New cam seals
New Tensioners
Rebuilt Alternator
New spark plugs
New Audi 710N Diverter Valves
Bosch 044 in tank fuel pump
short throw shifter

car is laser red and does have some clear coat peeling on the roof on a small spot but im sure that could get fixed with some sand paper and paint at a good shop. other than that car is in great shape in and out.

i have been back and forth with the owner for the last couple of weeks, before i get any kind of inspection done i want to come together on a price to be sure im not wasting either of our times, just want to get a feel for what you guys think its worth.

I was going to say $12k-14k, but without pictures its a little subjective.

Looks like he is asking 15.5.... which isnt a bad deal looking at the pictures. (Cdn Classifieds on AZ). Depending on how desperate he is, I cant imagine him going much lower price wise.

For me, negatives are:
-Roof paint... if the clear is peeling there, will it peel elsewhere? Shoddy body work/repair? paint problem?
-Needs upgraded brakes badly.
-cheap generic wheels
-Borla exhaust bottlenecks his setup
-US car, does it have the cold weather package? Winter tires?
-Seats are beat.
-Out of province.. no in person inspection

Positives:
-Looks like he used 95% of the right parts.. spent good money on the good parts
-Good mileage
-Price at 15.5 or lower is a steal


On a related note... if you have any interest in a silver stage 3 B5 S4 throw me a PM.. I have been toying with the idea of selling for sometime. It would cost you more, but its local, near mint and is VERY well sorted out.

would agree with the 15K assesment if it's in great condition and very little work is needed

For me, negatives are:

-Needs upgraded brakes badly. this would be done next summer
-cheap generic wheels wheels dont attract me either, he has the OEM ones with winters on them the VMR's will be sold
-Borla exhaust bottlenecks his setup easy enough to change
-US car, does it have the cold weather package? Winter tires? yes it does
-Seats are beat. they dont look in overly bad shape from the rest of the pictures/ videos i have received
-Out of province.. no in person inspection... this is whats holding me up at this point but i think if i was to get a audi dealer to inspect i would be comfortable with that and the seller is great.

I'd say 10g I'm not to big into buying a car that's been built though. Who knows how hard the guy drove it. I'd have constant fear of it blowing on me.

10K is kinda low, 15K is kinda high, I guess i am somewhere in the middle of those #'s. The only thing concerning is that the car isn't dialed in yet, and transferring tuning from EPL better be in writing from EPL not from the seller

10k is a joke..... you would have a tough time finding a stock one with 150k for that.
To me I could care less about bought vs. built as long as its done right.. in the long run it will save you at least half.

agree with Mark, there is at least 15 grand in parts listed there, never mind the time it takes to build something like this, which i dont have the capacity to do, the owner has kept everything very well documented and i have all the logs etc that have been back and forth with EPL, i actually just got an email from Dave confirming that they will continue tuning the car, i have no doubt in my mind that the car was build properly right now its just a matter of deciding if i want the s605's, or if i want Marks K04's..... with the nicesets seats i have ever had the pleasure to sit in......

Its certainly a tough choice... couldnt blame you for getting the one with bigger turbos, although there is always something to be said for dealing local and in person. It wasnt an easy thing sitting in the back seat of my car thinking that someone else could drive away with it... I didnt sleep well that night!

I bought one of my A4's online from Toronto and there were a bunch of things that got missed. I saw it in person and test drove it, but didnt exactly have a ton of time to do so. Ended up with a few k in extras that were missed on my end.
