  • Machine shop recommendation

    I need to get some stuff turned down on a lathe. Can anybody reccomend a good machine shop?

    I've used Derek @ Trillion before, good work good price good guy can't go wrong there.

        I shortened a set of struts and I need the top of the shaft turned down and threaded for the nut that holds the bearing/cap on.

          Sounds like fun! Sorry haven't had that work done myself so can't advise who has done it for me but I'm sure both parties I listed could make it happen Manfred's is more setup for it I bet but Derek is an enthusiast as well so I always try him first and see what he says, he can send you somewhere that can help if he can't usually.

                        Thread title is kind of irrelevant now but I test fit one of the struts, clears the tire no problem. Wheel sags way less, which means I am not going to get a ton of lift but if I get this much I will be happy....





                        Success! just need to fill with oil and test drive em now.
