also every time i drive highway 1 i want to stop here and snap pics but i never do. broken down old building (old gas station/go karts) on the indian land right after you drive over kananaskis river and right before the casino. its even more broken down now and fully tagged up and i think would look sick as a backdrop, and you can drive right up to it https://maps.google.ca/maps?hl=en&ll...138.65,,0,1.91

For Graffiti I usually use the pieces behind The Camera Store & Amsterdam Rhino. Depending on the light I will use the display behind Art Central as well.

Anyone plan a Helipad trip? Thinking that would be awesome to get another group together (with myself included, of course!).
I guess doing the shots in winter-mode would be kind of useless, perhaps early spring? if we can get in there again, and someone has the camera...

We keep the heli-pad snow free during the winter...the photo's would look amazing I think...I'll be back in K-country this Friday.

was just walking out from rollerhockey at max bell, and i just realized that its a pretty good spot for photos. there was a guy making a dance video next to a mid 80's supra looking over downtown.

too bad i didnt have my car i would have joined him and start thrusting with my 2.0. awesome sunset nonetheless.

Up by the airport on the north west side is some baseball diamonds and a parking lot. Perhaps get some night time shots with the airport lit up in the background???

Are you talking about the fields off of McKnight and Metis?

No this is the North West corner of the airport. Easiest access is probably off airport trail or 64 ave. I'll try to google map it or something.

EDIT: The fields don't exist yet on google maps. But its north of Speeders go-carting on Aero Drive.
