Picture Locations

I love to go out and take pictures of mine and friends cars, however I only know a few good spots down south.

Different locations and background really help me get better with my camera and it always more fun too. Hoping to get out there this afternoon and snap a few.

Does anyone know of any good spots for car photos in or around Calgary that they would like to share?

Sure I'll share

Some of my favorite locations are: (if you check out any of my current pictures, these locations have been used)

- In Evergreen (SW), there is a small little pavement area around by the pond. It’s off of Everridge drive and Fish Creek Blvd. There’s “no parking” signs but I have never had issues about stopping and snapping a few pics.

-Going west on 22x and south on Range road 22,it’s by the Red Deer Lake School, there is a gravel road with nice trees and some other cool background things that I like to take a lot of pics around.

- The other spot I seem to use but haven't with my car yet is down overlooking the sadledome and downtown. It’s just a little residential area. I went there with Sean and the GLI recently but I cannot remember the area name. Maybe Sean or Patryk can chime in on this one?

Those about the only 3 spots I know. I’d love to find some cool industrial areas and I have one spot in mind downtown with a graffiti wall but I haven’t tried to get my car in there yet. Might give it a try this Sunday when downtown is less busy

Not 15 minutes south of Kaslo, near the mouth of a lil creek, is a great pic spot.

Lost about 15hp, taking those stickers off...

If you're into graffiti the city street cleaning gravel storage compounds are great. Another kewl place is under the Crowchild trail bridge @ Hyatt Auto Sales & Leasing

my favorite grafitti spot is the end of 14th st SW, behind the glenmore interchange, theres a fenced off spot for gravel... i took my old subaru there for photos
