Ryan, if you have any small peeling issues, find the video from dipyourcar about the fix kit. Essentially it is just thinner that you wanna dip your finger in and rub gently on the part thats lifting. This will liquify the dip again enough to make it stick to the car gently, then touch up with rattle can or whatever. But from the instagram pics, it looks really good man!

ahh great video i found! sweet!

oh i ended up buying 3 gallons of black and 3 gallons of xylene for thinner from IPP

we only ended up using 1.5 gal of dip and thinner!

      i bought way too much

so i have 1.5gal black dip/thinner left over to sell if anyone wants it? otherwise i'll take it back to IPP and keep my .5gals for future projects or dip all my tools

oh i went with black because i felt it was easy for a first try without flirting with a color disaster haha

Anybody played around with clear plasti on the car? I like the idea of going matte blue, but if it's gunna look just covered in some kind of clear plastic I may as well mix the blue I want.

I havent done clear on the car yet, but i've done clear on wheels. Only advise I can give you is watch your thinning ratio as the clear is already much thinner than the colored plasti dip. A 1:1 ratio may be too much for clear!

Did my winters yesterday and tonight. I was way too lazy to bother with mixing so I just went plastidip + duplicolor route.

The omanyts were such a pain to plastidip . So many spokes, indents, curves and whatnot. I have quite a few trouble areas but idk at this point. I hate not having my a garage so I had to rush through it at my parent's place.

Anyways hoping they dry ok overnight, gonna go back for them tomorrow I'll grab some more pics if I'm not too lazy hah.

Good to see I'm not the only one thrashing on these factory wheels in the winter. The gold should look slick
