stfu tracy. Here i go and move my comments, give you a compliment to say that I commend you for being the first and then state my honest opinions in a thread that is relevant to the subject. If you want an all out war here is my invitation....take it, leave it, or shut the hell up

I dont care to hear any of your opinions. Just because you have you own issues and feel the need to complain about everything doesnt mean anyone here wants to hear you. you b*tch and whine about everything. Everything you say is negative and it so annoying. You troll almost everyones thread and start **** on everything. This is not vortex where you can sit behind your computer and say what you want. we all know each other here. Troll somewhere else.
Most people here are sick of you and your comments. Dont like it,then too f*c*en bad!
Grow a set and grow up.

Just because you have you own issues and feel the need to complain about everything doesnt mean anyone here wants to hear you. My own issues? Really? LOL. I do not complain about everything. I have been more than helpful to many many people both on here and vortex, and to other positive people i am very responsive and always glad to chat and respond with compliments.

you b*tch and whine about everything. See above comment, you may choose to see my troll posts but do not see everything i post.

Everything you say is negative and it so annoying. Then do not read what i say, i believe there is a function where you can ignore members, maybe try it? I know HIDplanet has it and this forums is the same setup

You troll almost everyones thread and start **** on everything. I make comments on lots of items. Comments that are useful are not trolling. The way i type is completely up to me and you can interpret it in any fashion you would like

This is not vortex where you can sit behind your computer and say what you want. we all know each other here. Troll somewhere else. Again i'm not trolling. Isn't the point of forums to share ideas and thoughts? A forums would get absolutely nowhere if we just posted up pictures and didn't talk about them, if we posted up an idea and got no feedback on it. Unless you of course know everything and don't take advice from anybody.....

Most people here are sick of you and your comments. Dont like it,then too f*c*en bad! I'm not concerned about that...i know far more people who absolutely hate what you did with your car and are not saying it just to spare your feelings.
Grow a set and grow up. Not even going to comment, not worth it.
As for plastidipping, that is what this thread was about. Talk about colors, techniques, equipment. I commented about the usefulness, the reasons why people do it and my personal opinion. COMPLETELY ON TOPIC! You post your complaints which could easily have been solved over PM, Facebook, Texting etc. So don't blame me for just replying back.

Hmmmm. Whats going on here? I thought you were all friends? Lets not let a simple thing like a stupid paint finish ruin friendships! I also would never plasti dip my cars however I respect Pat and Tracys cars and think its cool. Seems as though people are taking this whole car modding thing a little to seriously!!!!

                To all the bickering above....
i agree that it is kind of a fad. but i don't really find that to be a bad thing. Although I'm new to vortex, all i see now is the newcomers getting ripped apart for trying something different or being unique. i get so bored of seeing a newcomer posting up a stock jetta/golf lowered on wheels that everybody has. if they dont, everyone rips them apart. when i posted my car up on vortex i got ripped apart hard, and every now and then i get people on the street calling my car a piece of **** to my face. But i give zero f*cks. i like the way my car looks. thats all i really care about is my opinion, sure if someone else likes my car thats a bonus. Obviously i like seeing the different stuff, including plasti dip. it allows people to get creative and experiment.

ANYWAYS..... i might aswell contribute to the thread a bit since i have used plastidip myself.

i used plasti dip for a couple things on my car. did both my front and back emblem in black. i also did the roof rack with clear plasti dip, and then sprayed yellow spray paint over top. the reason i used plasti dip on my car is because i was worried about the outcome looking like sh*t, and also so i can remove it in the upcoming spring so i can sell my car as a stock 2.0 golf. i think these are two perfect reasons to use plasti dip; its good tester for if you want to go with permanent paint, and you can change it whenever you like.

                So yea......

I do agree on the fad status but that does not mean it will never look good and think it allows a bit more fun in the mod game with cheaper costs.

However this thread is about it so keep it on topic and NO PERSONAL ATTACKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This couldn't be more true. I don't modify my car for the internet or for anybody else. Sure, I might take other people's suggestions on what to do but at the end of the day if I am satisfied, that's really all that matters.

There are many other uses for plasti-dip other than using it on your cars.. like making home made shoes?

I made my own "running shoes". I took a pair of old socks and sprayed the bottom of them with "Plasti Dip". The Plasti Dip came from Home Depot and was only $5.98 for the can.
                            LOL.
