Some guy and his UK based web site has my car (along with a bunch of the well-known cars on the Vortex) shown in the "Hall of Fame" for Boras

Hahaha, thought it was pretty funny that my daily driver was in this hall-o-fame Very cool though I still have a ways to go before I can touch all the BoGLI's and PolskaJetta's out there, but I guess it's a step closer

i saw that page today derick i forgot to PM you about it.. i think mine is worthy to get on their once i put it together but its not that big a deal to me.. IMO your car is pretty much finished in my eyes.

mine is done other than headlights, some engine goodies, and a few interior tid bits

Haha, thanks guys. It's kinda cool to be representin' accross the pond and be posted with those well known Jetta's. ......Eh, screw em though. Once your guyz' cars are done in the spring, were gonna get get some kick-ass photo shoots for sure

That would be me. Hi guys. Bora Base is very much under construction; I started it a week ago as a place to host my car pictures, but when I mentioned it on a few forums I wa amazed by the interest. There has been loads of demand so I am trying to revamp it into a quality, informative site.

As for my Hall of Fame, IMO there are plenty of great looking Jettas out there and any car that has been executed to a high standard, any car that simply looks just right can be featured here - it doesn't have to be well known, or have outrageously expensive mods. Its more a source of ideas and inspiration for owners wanting to mod / to convince the UK hatchback population that saloon (sedan) cars can look hot modified. I don;t want to just produce a cloan site sucking up to all the well known cars if I can.

As I say, early days yet and I will be adding information to go with the pics at a later date. For now, please do keep checking it out and spread the word across the boards - any ideas / suggestions / input welcomed!

Your web site looks great! And I have to say, it's very flattering to have my car posted in the hall of fame. I was a little surprised since I always thought that the "European" school of style was so much more different, that they did not like North American styling. I've even read some Euro mags where they kinda make fun of big N. American wheels and that sort of thing. Oh well, the site looks fantastic and I've already bookmarked it in my favourites folder
