Oregon? Washington?

Seems like as good of a place as any to ask around, I know some of you are from the coast, and some have done trips down that way. Going to a course in Ashland end of October. Planning on making. Bit of a trip out of it, especially the going down part. Anyone know of cool places to camp? Things I should see? Brining a road bike and a trail bike. Thinking of a detour into Bend and take a look around there.

LEAVENWORTH is a must if you're going that way through washington. wicked driving road and great little town.

sunriver is awesome if you're going down to bend. great chill spot. take the bike and the board shorts. its a great place. can do some white water rafting on the deschutes, some camping in and around the area. its been the better part of a decade since ive been down but we had a place in sun river through the 1990's and sold in 2003. spent many a summer down there
