Awesome, Alberta as a whole has a strong vehicle enthusiest base. I think a world class centre of this calibre is needed. Let's just hope they can keep the cost down for events.

But i did have to lol at the part about hearings as if they haven't talked to the county yet about the track and done all that they still have at least 2-3years of dealing with the not in my backyard people. So 2014 is a crazy pipe dream not as crazy as B4NE1's F1 delusion but pretty close. The highest level we will see out here is Idiot Racing League (IRL/INDY) hopefully an ALMS race but more likely they are trying to attract NASCRAP jr or NASCRAP CANADA in some form.

A friend of mine thats involved in cart racing and formula renault has a blueprint of the track layout that I'm going to try to get a picture of.
