  • Thoughts on Porsche Cayenne

I am looking to purchase a pretty mint condition Porsche Cayenne S.
    It's an '05 , 130,xxxkms

Thoughts? Have you owned one? What are the bad/good? Any input is greatly appreciated, as I am looking into purchasing it ASAP because the price is right.

we had an 04 cayenne S, and liked it alot
i felt like the tranny was kind of strange.i guess it adapts to the way you drive... i wasn't a huge fan.
but i liked the way it handled and felt, except for the tranny.

They are pretty good vehicles. Just make sure you get the records and see what maintenance has been done.

I have seen quite a few lately for sale with blown engines - so I would recommend a compression / leak down. New engine is around 7g + install!

Another common issue with the car is the plastic water pipes fail. Causing coolant to sit in the valley, and damage the starter
