Well since my Mom & Step-Dad were in town I pretty much spent all last week as a tourist so here are a few highlights for those who like the sights of London!!

Well it has been a little while since any update to my thread, really not that much has been going on busy with school work and enjoying something they have here called fall, it can actually last more than a day or two. Sarah and I went to Milan last weekend for a nice break, my first trip to Italy so amazing to get on a plane for 1.5 hours and be somewhere like that. The city is nice more a business and fashion place but great food, lots of coffee and some pretty high rollers around too.

This weekend is a bit more relevant to Eurodrivers; tomorrow morning very very early I am heading to the airport and getting on a plane bound for western Poland. There Bart will be collecting me in his TTRS and we will begin a blast across northern Germany to attend the Essen motorshow. This is sort of like the European SEMA, a lot of aftermarket products and we should hopefully see some crazy modified stuff and the latest products from the European parts companies and manufacturers. Sunday we are making the trip back towards Poland with a stop in Wolfsburg to visit VW headquarters and all the museums and pavilions on the grounds of the Autostadt, and just like that it will be time for me to fly home Monday morning.

I hope the weather will allow for some good rips on the autobahn and I will be taking some pictures and documenting the journey to share with you all upon the return. Just another weekend in the life of an exiled El Presidente

Well I have returned back to London and I must say that could have been an auto enthusiasts dream weekend, maybe with better weather though. I will post up pics when I get to them in the next day or two but the highlights include being on the autobahn in a chipped TTRS, Essen motorshow (12 buildings of stuff from indoor bikini car-washes to Le Mans race cars), go karting at Michael Schumacher's official kart center, the Autostadt in Wolfsburg and a little bit more autobahn time!!

Martin we might be able to work something out there!!

Wow that sounds like an incredible trip!! I want to eventually do an enthusiasts trip. I think it would be so much fun.

Well time to start sharing some photos from the weekend, first off here is the lovely car that helped us cover 1,500kms or so over the weekend in style! The car was a bit thirsty and gas was not so cheap, I think the worst was an 85 Euro tank of 102 lasting only 230 kms with the best tanks being only 350ish kms but we did make seriously good time



Arriving in Essen, the hotel was next door to the show and the car stood out a bit compared to everything else

After the Essen show we decided to go to the Michael Schumacher go kart center in Kerpen a little drive away, because of Christmas parties we had to wait for track time so we enjoyed the restaurant as we waited, the schnitzel was very fitting





Sunday after breakfast we started to make the way back but with a small stop at the Autostadt in Wolfsburg to break up the drive back.

Blair put together a wish list of stuff you want and i'll bring over on my next trip. I just booked a whack of flights, i'm back and forth twice in Feb, once in Jan and then for a few weeks in may again
