Went into the city today and hit up Oxford Street, Soho, Regent Street, Bond Street etc, lots of tourists and Olympic related people. They also have new BMW 3 series as the official Olympic cars around the city and I think I saw about 30-40 of them today. I also saw a green Tesla, a Phantom and an electric Smart ForTwo. I also saw a Renault Wind, had never heard of them before but pretty interesting looking, here is a stock pic as lots of rain today.

A couple delayed updates, firstly last Friday Sarah and I went to some preliminary rounds of women's volleyball, that matches were pretty one sided but some great action and a really fun atmosphere!!
Then on Sunday we went to the art exhibition opening of a controversial yet entertaining artist Mr. Brainwash, we had to wait a while, in the rain, but it was fun and got a couple free prints for our trouble and got to meet the man himself as well. A few pics of the show for those who maybe interested.

Yes he is a love him or hate him kind of guy, we have I think 8 prints by him now so obviously we are more of a fan than not. I did go into a fancy gallery on Bond Street last week that had some originals for sale by him but you need about 80,000 pounds to get into a piece though. The Union Jack was done out of spray paint cans.
Should be heading to Cardiff (Wales) to visit a friend on the 25th which is the August long weekend for here, bank holidays they are called, and I have a weekend in Copenhagen booked for September and Paris for the Auto Show at the end of September all booked up too.

A couple more interesting spottings from the last couple of days. The Maserati was around the back of Harrods and obviously you can see a couple other cars in the background too, was mostly S-Classes and I think I saw about 6 Rolls Phantoms and Ghosts that day too. There was a ton of police and reporters around though as the WikiLeaks guy did his press conference on the Ecuadorian Embassy balcony about an hour before we got there. We also spotted Sung Kang, Han from the Fast and the Furious movies in Harrods just walking around as Fast Six is now filming here too.

I also picked up some football tickets this morning, not the best match but World Cup Qualifier in October between England and San Marino at Wembley, and did I mention I got front row as well!!

^^^Nice Blair. I believe Poland beat San Marino 10-1 about a year back in a friendly, so i'm sure you'll see a sh!t ton of goals coming from England hahaha

Well this weekend was a holiday weekend here, they only have one in August/September, not two like in Canada. Anyway we decided to take a portion of the weekend and go visit a good friend of mine who lives in Cardiff, Wales and see a little bit more of the UK. The journey was not too bad, 2 hours and 10 minutes from London Paddington to Cardiff Central by train with about 5 stops along the way but it could have been cheaper with the tickets costing £80 each return.
Cardiff Train Station
We went to a Welsh Life Museum, some impressive gardens around the original manor there.
Some pictures of Cardiff Bay looking out to sea and in to the city.
You can see in the last pic the copper roof in the sun, this is the Cardiff Bay Opera House and here it is up close.
The Pierhead Building a famous Cardiff Bay landmark.
Overall Cardiff was very nice and we had a good visit and will probably be back in the not too distant future, Welsh is a very weird language though!!

Well Sarah and I took a long weekend break and went to Copenhagen, Denmark for 3 days and 2 nights. The flight is only 1.5 hours from London and can be done for fairly cheap. The city itself was very nice, we really enjoyed it a lot, beautiful buildings, monuments and statues everywhere, people are polite and speak great english, plenty to see and do. My only real complaint would be that the place is very, very expensive, for instance the cheapest cup of coffee I had all weekend would have been close to $5 CDN, a moderately nice meal was over $150 CDN for two people.
Anyways a few pictures of the city.
The city is the home of Carlsberg
Town Hall
Rosenborg Castle
The Marble Church and Amalienborg Palace

Now I have a couple days of school left and then Saturday I am on the train to Paris for the Auto Show!!
Well my Mom and Step-Dad are visiting this week so we did a London sightseeing bus tour today which I have never done before and I did see a lot of car dealerships along the way including Aston Martin, Bentley, Rolls Royce, McLaren, Lamborghini, Audi and Porsche. I also managed to see this as well, might have to go back for a closer look but nuts to see one in the flesh!
