Having driven a Smart and a Fiat I have heard many a comment, a lot of them down right rude and mean. The most common when driving the R8 is "what do you do for a living?"

the best reaction i actually get with my car is the soccer mom sticker and the pink 4 doors get more whores sticker on the back window.
people see the soccer mom sticker and assume its a girls car. the pink sticker seems to reinforce that pretty quick. but i can always see people at red lights trying to read what the pink sticker says, and when the get it they always end up bursting out laughing.
