  • Exhaust Fabrication

I have a Magnaflow cat back with a center resonated section you can see in the pics below. I wouldn't mind figuring out how cost effectively I could have a set of non-res pipes bent to replace this resonated part. I don't imagine it would be terribly costly but I would like to keep it as low as is reasonable because this would effectively be an experiment and if it didn't sound good/is too loud I'd swap the original resonated sections back in. Any suggestions as to where I should go?

What if you just cut the packing out of the resonators? Might actually hinder performance, and could be more work than just replacing them with pipe sections.

Hell. Fucking. No. Chris fucked up the exhaust on the cabrio too many times. I fixed it myself in the end. He also charged me like $80 to weld a bung onto my intercooler piping, even though I provided all the damn parts. And he charged Graeme a retarded amount to weld some exhaust tips on.

It's not just CAW, there are others that over charge for exhaust work.

Minute Muffler on 32nd ave NE. Had my mufflerectomy done by them, excellent work and I will be taking all of my exhaust work there in future.

Tons of excellent reviews (OP is a troll, gets owned, great thread):

Have had him work on every car I've owned and have always been very satisfied. As for cost I'm guessing $150-ish, if not lower.
