    Re: mountain biking

It is hard on body, especially Elixr brake lever assemblies.

But I am told that the trails are nearing being finished this year, which is awesome.

Sun Peaks also does it and Mt.Washington.

Kicking horse is fun, but isn't the most beginner friendly hill. Especially since you go right from the summit, so it is a pretty long descent.

      Re: mountain biking

Kicking horse was the only one I have done and saying its hard on the body is a understatement. Kicking horse defo kicked (no pun intended) my butt. Man I was hurting for two weeks! But the hot spring are only a hour down the road.. good way to soak and relax after.

        Re: mountain biking

Yeah the horse is pretty exposed, lots of rough rock sections, but every year it gets more and more buff.

Moose is getting tons of exposure these days, now with a legitimate body looking over the hill Moose Mountain Bike Trail Society check that place out. Lots of info and such.
