tell me about Moose Mountain DH

Been riding DH for a while now and here about Moose Mountain, I am wondering if there is anything I would need to know before I went out riding.
Is there a cost? Can I just drive out and park and ride on trails?
Is there different grades, types of skill levels like skiing?
any info is greatly app.

I went ages ago.

No cost. We would shuttle up in trucks to the top of the trail.

This was 6-7 years ago though.

If you are XC lots of great trails. For DH you are going to need too shuttle or suffer a lot. It would help to contact Calgary Cycles or one of the other bike shops to see if they have group DH rides. Not really a safe sport to be doing solo.

Free to go. Just get a couple trucks and a couple buddys and shuttle all day.
Almost all the stuff thats big you can go around. Fun for just about everyone.

I haven't been out there this year, but last summer we would go all the time in the evening and shuttle up and down a few times. There are lots of fun trails, most of it is pretty mellow and you can ride around all of the stunts. If you go out there, more often than not there are people that would be willing to drive you up and ride down with you.
