Re: Stupid Facebook
Don't get me started on this, of course if you could actually get the shares at $38 and flip them you can make some money, but this company is not worth more than $100 billion I am sorry but the numbers are ridiculous for what is actually there to back them up.Blair

Re: Stupid Facebook
Apple and MSFT are still much better tech buys than FB, they actually have products and strong global revenues, FB numbers are based on revenue/profit ratios that are very reminiscent of the 1999-2000 tech bubble. When the hype dies down the value will be going with it.Blair

Re: Stupid Facebook
Yea, GM pulled it's advertising, it also has a 15 billion class action law suit alleging they are tracking users even after logging off.
Opened this morning at 38.00, closed at 38.23 which means if you bought it, you probably lost money today as I believe it went to 42 at it's peak.Jay

Re: Stupid Facebook
the fundamentals arent there to support a $100billion valuation. im sorry but there is no way FB can keep its growth rates the same for the next 5 years. They are already starting to hit a saturation point.
THe fact that original shareholders are dumping MORE onto the open market than they had previously planned just shows they dont have long term confidence in the company.
This is so overhyped its hilarious.
I'll put $10 on FB being UNDER $38 12 months from nowTeam Highschool

Now down 12.27%. Down $4.75 per share to $33.50. A major embarrassment for NASDAQ, given Friday's computer glitches and for lead underwriter, Morgan StanleyGeoff
