as-builts are only as good as the site communication, the are always so many changes in layout and specs. Most firms are far to lazy to go back and capture all these small changes on the as-builts leaving plans that are not accurate. And I have worked with many engineers who have a degree but no frigging idea how things work in the real world causing lots of on site on the fly changes.Been driving VAG for longer then allot of the members have been alive
