              I was told by a diesel mechanic in Calgary that Mastercraft is old Snap-On patent. Don't know how much merit is behind that statement, but I thought I'd share.

                That wouldn't surprise me that some of them are. I have noticed their tools are usually re-branded from makers like gear wrench etc. I sure wouldn't say their quality is equal to any old snap-on patent though. On that note costco selling snap-on branded shelving and other crap is the worst case of brand suicide I have ever seen.
