I took air transat when I went to England. NEVER AGAIN. 12 hours in the most cramped seat I've ever been in. No entertainment, a measly shitty sandwhich for "lunch". Terrible service. Would not recommend it regardless of price.

I took air transat to cancun wasn't to bad. But for that price I can't really complain, plus this will be my first time overseas

I've been on air transat about 5 times, I'd say 3 good 2 bad in terms of leg room. Great deal though if I tell the wife she might make me go.

Regardless of the flight, you should have a great time in London and where ever else. If the flight is cramped it just means you need more booze and sleeping pills. (Awesome combo for longer flights)

lol true that. And I was a heavy smoker at the time, probably didn't help. I loved London, very cool place. If you're into house or electronic music make sure you go to the ministry of sound one night too.

You can try and call and get the club seats on AirTransat too, I think about $50 for their version of executive class, at least a bit of extra leg room. I think I will be flying them on my one way to London as the price is considerably cheaper than AC for a one way, but would still prefer the AC as I like seat back movies since I do not sleep well on planes, but don't worry London is an easy flight it is the 12+ hour ones that really start to get fun!

im doing transat to london in june, gonna pay the $50 upgrade.
the flight with taxes was $792. The same Air Canada flight leaving 2 hours later was $1450. kind of a no brainer.
i'm just gonna have to sleep on the way there and sleep on the way back.
