Not sure if this will stay open or not (as repost) but this shiet is scary. I've done Saskatoon -> Calgary and back like a hundred times. My last and final trip ended up in me nearly smoking 2 deers. That event changed my freaking life (and this is after I've driven across the USA numerous times). Have seen many many close calls over the years based on wind/weather. You never know when your time is going to come. One patch of ice and thats it.

With that kind of an impact I would not have wanted to survive were I the driver. There is no way you could live through that and have any sembalance of life afterwards.Comment
