  • auto dry?

seen this on tv, i think i will try it, they let you get a refund within a year if you're not satisfied, why not??

basically its some special soap compound, and you rinse it off with their sprayer, which houses a PUR water water filter, that gets rid of the crap which causes water spots in the first place. sounds believable. motortrend approved too, we'll see.

isn't this sorta the stuff that bigbucket has in their 'spot free' rinse? or is that just low pressure water? i always assumed something was in with it to help out..but this is pretty cool if it works i'll pick one up..

i bought a water blade in the spring and haven't used it since because they are way to dangerous on the paint.

I think its the same as the spot free rinse. Anything that reduces the surface tension of water will work. They already have this stuff for dishwashing, I bet its the exact same product.

waterblades aren't bad for the paint, you just have to use them properly. they aren't a substitute for drying, they are just supposed to get most of the water off to make hand drying it a little easier.

yea no it works great guys if you handwash the car and get 100% of the crap off.. i pressured mine and then used it and there was some dirt left so next thing i know i'm keying my own hood with dirt.. good thing i just waxed it so no damage really occured so now it sits on the shelf in my garage and i use a chamois

Yeah I saw that autodry stuff back in the summer and was intrigued, however I have read some recent reviews that say it is not so good. Apparently the rinse is low pressure and has a hard time removing the soap, so you either need to rinse twice or take a while. Another point that was mentioned was that if you use a detail spray regularly the finsh the autodry leaves does not work well with this and leaves some streaks. Overall if you have a good drying system and routine this will not save you anytime.
