Dry cell battery- relocation

i am considering relocating my battery to the hatch or behind the front seat
what are the dry cells recommended?
has anyone done this and would like to share some insight on this?

even though calgary might not have a track anymore its still a legitimate question. if you plan on ever taking your car out, you'll need to have a externally accessible kill switch for your relocated battery.
