well i'll see brent.. its been on there since 6PM last night on 2A trickle and this morning at 7am when i left to go downtown it was still charging.. so i'll see when i get hoem this afternoon what its like

I bought a snap-on one for the ATV, 50 bucks and has a disconnect so you can leave it bolted on to the battery and disconnect the charger (same as the CTEK ones).

weird.. on the 2A trickle the crappy tire still says its not fully charged. i put the key in the car and got 12V

i'll leave it for a bit more and see

leave it until its fully charged. the last one i drained took a whole weekend to charge.

holy crap! yea i'll just leave it be overnight 2 nights in a row.. i thought 12 hours max but meh.. no hissing so this should do the trick and good for future batteries too

2 amps.....

24 hours minimum, but probably more like 30 to 40 as it does not run at 2 amps the whole time.

hrmm i put it up to 4A last night and it said it was still charing today! so i took the clamps off and the battery is fucking hissing now! warm to the touch.. me thinks i overcharged it?? i hope its not dead now..

Slow charge is much better for the battery.

drove it yesterday and it registered 12v with key on.. drove fine

today tried to start it.. barely started. registered about 8V


i'll gladly give this to someone for free at the next meet if they want it??

i'll go buy another one (or maybe go back to OG acid style ones)

I love my giant interstate battery. Left the golf in the -30oC for a week while on vacation. Fired right up when I got home.
