shaw fiddy?

Seeing as I download everything I decided to knock off HBO and showtime and bump up my internet from extreme to shaw 50. What speeds should I be seeing?

On newsgroups, I am seeing 11mbps compared to ~20+ I saw on my "old" modem.....Speedtest's show Im only getting about 35Mbps

We have the 50 here at work and even with 20 people on it all the time and also running Cisco VOIP I am getting numbers in the 30-35 range. Went down to about 27 at lunch though. uploads are close to 5.

running shaw 50 here, seeing 45Mbps routinely on my wired connection. Wireless is slower, but I don't download through my wireless devices.

Do the test on www.speedtest.net. Shaw's own speedtest can't keep up with the 50 Mbps speed. I was getting maybe 20 Mbps testing on speedtest.shaw.ca, then tested on speedtest.net I get a very reliable 45-52 Mbps.
