It is a good thing he looks like he doesn't understand half the questions otherwise he would come off as a major arsehole.

He has no idea what he's saying or what they're asking. Regardless, Yakupov is unbelievable. Him and Kuznetsov were stunning to see live, they were worth the price I paid even if we hadn't of mounted that comeback. Russia had Kuznetsov and a superior goalie, they aren't the better team.
Re: Post Game Interview of the Year - Nail Yakupov
Overall canada was the better team, just not for the first 2 periods of that game. They actually did play better but took stupid penalties (and where was the penalty for running over the goalie after a goal?). I think emotions got into play after their shaky finish in the US game but that is juniors for you. I do like how they proved they are a better all around team with that nice comeback, they where an inch off from tying it up.

Meh, happens every year. Play nobody with any cohesion or talent, score 700 goals, get lazy, then the second someone comes at you, you are playing on your heels.
I would much rather see a best of 7 Canada/Russia as their own little pool, instead of watching Canada win by 5 goals every round robin game.

I know what you mean, I feel sorry for latvia every year.

This is true only some years. Yes we destroyed Finland but we scored two early which in a game with teenagers is usually enough to crush spirits. Finland also has a skilled team led by Granlund who is supposed to be the best player in the world not in the NHL. Finland was 2 minutes from the gold medal game. The Czechs played Russia to an overtime game in the quarters finals. A skilled team with the #1 goalie in the tournament. Denmark was obviously a joke but it's unfair to say that the other three games were played against talentless teams.
