Re: Heading to Lake Louise tomorrow
this is the busiest week of the year for the hills. three words of wisdom.
GET THERE EARLY.
I was headed past there on Wednesday morning, and it was lined up into the right lane from the merge lane on the #1 at 930am.Cam

Re: Heading to Lake Louise tomorrow
I went yesterday, and it was absolutely packed. The parking lot was backed up onto the highway all the way back to the "lake louise 1km" sign. We arrived at the turn off around 9:15 and didn't make it into the parking lot until after 10.

Re: Heading to Lake Louise tomorrow
I suggest keep goin to Revy, if you have a place to stay. Be warned the town hotels/inns, have No Vacancy.
For some perspective, during the road closure on Wednesday, a friend of mine that works at Revy mentioned they had their busiest day ever.
It's busy everywhere. Revy got tracked out, even the hidden gems. Since Revy was closed, we shredded Kicking Horse & it too was a very busy day. Typical irritating bottle neck of people at the gondola base. Still got turns though. Hopefully the new RCR ownership, injects some money and another lift in the alpine there.
If you're on the fence, i suggest not going to Louise or Sunshine. So many gorbies, and punters out there.
I'm headed to Kimberley in the morning, only because my family is out there. Otherwise I'd lay low.
