Alexisonfire (seen them 11 times... was sad to hear about the break up), Avenged Sevenfold and slipknot

Those are my all time fav's. Some others include rise against, AFI, Asking Alexandria, A Day to remember

Some very good bands mentioned in this thread, for me it is very hard to pick favorites as I go/have gone through so many phases of preferred music. A few years ago I was very much in to punk and thus bands like Bad Religion (BR, SNFU and Choke in Edmonton was one of my fav concerts ever!), Pennywise and NOFX always hold a special place for me, I even recall seeing AFI at the Carpenters Union Hall in Kensington, back in their East Bay Hardcore days. I also thoroughly enjoy bands like Helmet, Glassjaw, Coheed & Cambria, Foals, Alkaline Trio, Iron Maiden, Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and I think early U2 is still amazing.


Edit: Listening to AFI - Very Proud Of Ya know, brings back memories.
