I took out my oilpan on one of the ridonculous, unlit, badly signed "speedbumps" on the north loop road at YYC at about 4:00 Friday morning...nice way to start a weekend getaway. Has anyone else suffered damage on these monstrosities and is there any hope of claims process success?

Nope I had a snowplow shoot a chunk of ice in front of my car and I didn't even bother. My buddy also took out his oilpan and jar'd his transmission so it only stayed in first gear (auto) and the city denied it right away even at stock height.
My suggestion is just to replace the pan and suck up the $200 it takes for a new pan. It will be much easier to just replace it than have the hassel of trying to get your money backComment
