recommend me a machine shop

just wondering if anyone has had any head work done mainly 20 v guys and what shop did you use?
i need it tanked decked and valve guides installed
any horror stories?
im also looking for someone who welds aluminium that could weld an intake manifold, any members weld?

I took my AEB to Precise over by Blackfoot to get resurfaced, its where Calgary Autoworks takes all their stuff and Graeme got his heads for the Allroad done there (nightmare story for Graeme)

I think it came to $180? The guy told me like $80 to take the cams off and put them back on, when i told him they didnt need to put them back on they still charged me for putting them back on even though they didnt. So take your cams off yourself.

The head is 100% disassembled and I'll be assembling it so I just need the machine work done ,
My brother in law went to economy cylinder head and they were fine for a jet clean and deck , but I was hoping to find someone that would do it right the first time

Off topic but are you changing valves, springs, guides or anything like that? I've got my AEB sitting there just waiting to get some work done, so I'm curious to know.

I'm doin it all but I'm just gonna get the machine shop to do guides and the other machine work I'm gonna put new valves and such in and hopefully cams , if you want I'll lend you my valve spring compressor and the other tools needed if you don't have them

Yeah I'm just buying a little bit at a time , I hope I can afford a nicer turbo 50 trim is no fun anymore

I would recommend Precise. They have done alot of work for me
