    ive been trying to deal with a tech support issue with them this week and its been 3 days in a row of 90 minute hold times.

    Unacceptable if you ask me.

      I am at work and have been on hold for almost an hour now. They must have some real issues this week! Might have to up my BB data plan to unlimited soon.

        My beef with Shaw is that after being a customer with them for over 10 years and never missing a payment, they won't even try to give me a better deal to match what Telus is currently offering. I am thinking it's time to walk way from Shaw and take advantage of Telus for 6 months. After that time I won't be a current Shaw customer and can get all their promotional offers for the same services I currently have but for 30% less. I don't get why they treat prospective customers better than their current long time customers... it just doesn't make sense.

          Most customers are just happy with what they have and thats the price they are getting, until they have problems they arent looking for a better deal, no time to do so.

          Just whatever you do, when a tech comes to your house, don't pull a DJ.

            night 3 without internet. WTF. Tried calling numerous times. on hold at least 6 hours in total. I can't even get customer service to tellthem to go F#@K themselves.

              Trash them on Twitter. You'd be suprised how quick they reply.

                  Yes they will.... Just disconnect any of their services. Within two weeks they will offer you the moon.

                  I currently have broadband 50 and full cable for $40 per month... The problem is Telus can't match their services. Telus internet is crap.

                  I find calling during business hours and the hold times are less than 30 minutes.

                        This sounds pretty ridiculous.

                        We called shaw, told them we need our cable hooked up. Some guy came the next day around 930am, noticed we didn't have a cable outlet in the right place, he tried to pull some wire, couldn't get it to work.

                        So he left, came back at like 630pm, ran cable along the side of our house, drilled through the wall and installed an outlet, hooked up our internet activated our box, left at almost 9pm. All on a Saturday.

                        It was crazy. Guy was super helpful, very friendly, and got us all set up.

                        Also to what is said above.

                        We call and threaten to leave at least once every 6 months. Get all sorts of free ****, and discounted rates.
