  • Wheel Choices For The Fiat.......

Well since it is pretty quiet around here these days I thought I would see what you all think about wheel options for the 500. This is just planning as I am not sure on the budget at this point (trying to go to Australia in February) so I am covering a fair bit of range just in case. I am wanting to stick with 16" wheels and plan to re-use the stock Conti's but am planning to go for a more aggressive width and offset, 7.5-8" is my preference with 6.5" being the stock width. I am also open to other options and p-chops if anyone wants to help out a bit.

The car in question (drop will probably stay as is unless a great new coil comes out at a good price)

    1) Schmidt TH Lines; pretty pricey 16x7.5 et26 Fiat fitment available, multi-piece, timeless design.

    2) ESM 002; very cheap, 16x7.5 et20 Fiat fitment available, one piece reps.

    3) Ronal Aero 16"; reasonable price, possible Fiat 500 bolt pattern but not the best offset 16x7.5 et35.

    4) Work Meister S1 2p; pricey, custom made, big dish choice of finish/colours (I like full polish or matte grey).

Correct width and offset in full polish

3 piece version and 18" but helps visualize

    5) CCW Classics; pricey, custom made 3 piece, pretty common

    6) BBS RS; very pricey, need to be custom built to fit 3 piece, common but timeless

The RS are def my choice too but way expensive. The reps are my second choice, but I'm thinking in the mind of vacation. More money on vacay is always better! Unless you have to drive the car every day....

The RS' look lovely, but for the price that it's gonna cost to make them work, I'd go for the ESM reps.

rs's but like the guys said its not cheap. Just priced out getting a set on my car again and its over 2000 after build costs

ESM look just as good imo

              Schmidt Lines.

              Or Turbo's.

Only because I want those on every car I own.

All of these are tough choices, seeing as the cars you posted all have MINIMAL wheel gap. If you were dropped like them, I would definitely say the RS's, however with your current ride height i'm gonna say the WORK Meister S1. I think they will look great with your current height and if you decide to go lower in the future!

I vote either the ESM 002 or the Work Meister S1 2p. The RS's look great but so would the other two.

I actually like the CCW Classics. They look like they have the best price to looks ratio to me.

That is the problem the RS' are so much coin (the same with airfare to Sydney) and a set of the ESMs is currently on special for $650 (free shipping in the US) so hard to argue with that, maybe just need to make some Fiat center caps and would look not so bad at all.......

ESM would look good but you need to get the fitment right and nice tyres
