Looking for a RWD project car, more for fun. Something that can be turbo'd. I was thinking an e30 BMW, something like that. Just looking for some input. Doesn't necessarily need to be a euro, although preferred, jap cars would work too.

Re: RWD Project suggestions.
depends how much you want to put into it and what you wanna do with it.
cheap rwd car, look for an s-chassis (240sx, 180sx or silvia) with an sr20. sr20's are fun little motors, super easy to work on, and s-chassis fit wide low offset wheels. still the only car i would drive if i weren't given the choice of a vw

Re: RWD Project suggestions.
Not too sure really yet. Kind of thinking of finding something with a blown motor but nice everything else. Usually cheap as hell. Or try to find something with a good motor but crappy other stuff and strip it for a fun car. Either way, looking for easy RWD power to play with.

Re: RWD Project suggestions.
^^ Man I was seriously thinking about it. Those crazy swede's have built some pretty gnarly ones. Seen some of the drift videos on youtube. For sure an option, and still euro.
How about an Audi TT? Fun potential, winter drivability. Can find them for cheapish.Last edited by CGDoig; 10-31-2011, 08:54 AM.

Re: RWD Project suggestions.
Mazda Rx7.. I only say that as ive been playing GT5 too much. Not sure how much they are on your side of the pond..
Or can go random with this 1972 Ford Maverick..? http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi...AdIdZ316218327
The 190E recommendation above gets my vote though...Current: 2002 Zonda CRV
2004 VW MK4 1.8T GTI
2001 Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec (European)

Re: RWD Project suggestions.
190 is more boring to drive than e30.
Nothing handles like an e30
If you are thinking of a e30, I wouldn't even look at anything but a 325is...( top non M model, w/ LSD and various other better parts)
I'll dig up photos of my old e30
The 6 cyl moves a decent amount of air, for a turbo
LOVED THAT CAR!!!Last edited by T-Dubbs; 11-01-2011, 11:34 AM.~~TODD~~
