  • WoW detailing

okay guys well hopefully the weather is gonna stay super warm for the next two months but if not well my LBs can hopefully get me down there..

anyways if we drop our cars off thursday at supper time or whatever are we just going to self detail (clay, waxy wax,etc etc) on the floor? or should we all perhaps take them in to be professionally detailed a few days prior? just some thoughts..

I'm gonna have to agree. Professional detailers do a good job, but no one is gonna care for your car like yourself. Besides, the money spent on detailers can go to more mods I'm gonna ditch work on that Friday to do the detailing, whether it's on the grounds or prior. Man, Calgary weather blows
I think that most people there are gonna be in the same boat....maybe the event organizers have somehting set up for this like temporary wash bays or something??? Has anybody called to ask?

You should be able to detail IE Wax and stuff beforehand, drive out there very carefully then spot detail the new dirt.

yea thats what i think were gonna have to do nick.. but if there is snow and ice everywhere i think we may have to rent a U-haul car trailer for an afternoon to load the cars, etc if we do this i can borrow my buddies truck to haul but no idea on the cost of this one

Doing a super clean at home should be ok to get you to the show and then touch up. I am not sure if a trailer would be worth while plus we may need to have the groups cars there all at once. Bart did ok last year so it should be no problem.

I wouldn't be to worried about this stuff yet. We still have to get our applications in! There is lots of time left to figure this out before the show. I believe that you get lots of time before the opening of the show to get your display and cars ready. I know that I'm gonna have to change wheels there because I can't drive on my summers in Feb. No worries.

On a positive note, I just cleaned my 18" rims in the nice weather we had on the weekend... I can see silver now! They are clean everywhere. As Martha Stewart would say... "it's a good thing".
