Sentinel Self-Storage does auctions, on site, just like the show every couple months.

The next one is this Saturday October 15 at various Sentinel Locations in Calgary:

I think your chances of finding something cool are pretty slim. The show focuses mostly on awesome stuff, how many did they buy before finding the good one.

Personally, the locations are key.

Take for example the Bowridge location (right across from COP) we get a lot of people from Springbank/area that are in oil and gas/own their own companies. One of the last ones we had was a huge unit, had family stuff (like 4 of everything) Bikes, fishing gear, skiing/snowbarding gear, everything sports, a huge sectional and an antique foose ball table.

But our other unit was just stacked with boxes of paperwork......

So hit and miss.

If I want to buy one, I have to go to the auction, same as everyone else. We take inventory only of what we can see from the door, no different than what anyone else can see.

Keep all chances fair and avoid anything that could lead to legal issues.
