Intense.

I like iOS5. Better than any Blackberry, and has been better than any one of my friends with Android. Every time they get an update, their phones crash, have to be sent in. Android is cool, and a neat concept. Maybe one day when I can run my house on it, it will be dope.

Hate to say it Kor, I've used my iPhone and my gf's android, the iPhone has a way nicer, easier to use interface. Also in terms of quality, holding an iPhone and an htc, the htc just feels like a cheap piece of crap.

Don't lie to yourself, the only reason android is dominating the market is because there are a number of companies that make phone to run on android, only one single phone on iOS. You can't really compare that......

fwiw, i had an iPhone and quite liked it. Work got me an HTC w/ Android that took me some time to get in to, and now I find my iPhone frustrating.

I think it also comes down to what you are used to. I grew up with iPods and such, so the interface is second nature to me, whereas a droid phone isn't.

I ahve an iphone 4 and a samsung galaxy S2. I personally prefer the android platform as it is a lot more customizable.

Basiaclly, everything you guys are raving about was available with gingerbreads release ages ago. And ice cream sandwich is just around the bend.

edit: have not updated to ios5 yet so take it with a grain of salt however the only thing that seems really worthwhile to me is the notification bar (andriod notification system. Lulz)

LED ALERTS!.

you all missed it when you left your BB dont lie.
go to settings - general - accessibility and turn on LED alert
when messages or calls or facebook comes through the camera flash will light up briefly with a crazy strobe

I'm sure for the 5 they will fully introduce a front side LED that gives you the proper notification.

The other thing that I hate about android. Every time someone talks about the operating system. I always end up hungry.

OK this wins.

My phone doesnt have LED notification availabhle unless I root it, which I dont want to do (long story, but my work mail client wont work if im rooted), there is no option.

Fact is that Android market has overtaken iOS market.......

I was at a seminar meeting the other day and there was about 45 people in the room........ at one point the "Smart phone" topic came up as a business tool....... out of the 45 people there was 42 iPhones, 2 blackberry's and 1 motorola razr........

how has android overtaken the market?????? just sayin
