Re: Forza 4 - Eurodrivers Club Official Thread

I played a bit yesterday, not as much as I wanted on my first day but got going in the game. I created the Eurodrivers club too and sent out invites to those of you playing so far and if you get your Xbox Live renewed Scott I will send you one too.

I'm not immpressed with it. Just dirt with a forza name. Ill still play it but I want simulation racing. And a lot of cars, I don't like having to buy them with real money.

Been playing this a lot recently. Joined the club too, I have some people that were in the FM4 club of ours I'd like to add but I can't for some reason.

Re: Forza 4 - Eurodrivers Club Official Thread

I have played a bit over the weekend, I enjoy the variety of differing challenges and tasks in the game; driving all the roads, discount signs (I am in the 60s), barn finds (I am at 5), story mode races, multiplayer, etc. Just a lot of different things to help enjoy driving around, I think people are hung up because it is called Forza so they think it should be the same but really it is a kind of driving game greatest hits all put together, Forza, PGR, TDU, Dirt, NFS all rolled into one. I think it will keep me going for a bit and if I feel like a more sim experience not like I have finished FM4 so can always go back and work on that too!

I had the level 50 in FM4 and VIP pack so I have a lot of cars in the new game but I am having no problems racking up money and getting what I want to drive.

i was referring to buying the season pass or car packs to get more cars. i hate that after you buy a game you have to pay more to get the stuff that should have been in it from the beginning.

I agree with that part, seems that they for sure left a lot of cars out to entice people to buy the season pass, and then they even cut the car packs down to 6 cars from 10. I had the season pass with FM4 but have passed on it so far with Horizon, will try and make due with what there is and see how the rally expansion pack looks when it comes out.

Haven't picked it up, but from the sounds of it, I should.

My biggest issue with forza is that I get bored. As you progress through the game nothing changes, except the races just get longer.

The one thing I like about NFS are the challenges and the mix up in options. Dirt 2 was awesome for that reason alone, race full on rally cars to T4 support trucks, if it just had moto it would have been epic. When I get back from Oregon I may have to pick up a copy.

horizon is actually pretty fun! i like the real world simulation about it..
picked up a b7 rs4 today and using it now instead of the POS corrado the game comes with.

one thing i think is funny is if kids play it do they think its OK to drive like jack asses(real world) to get points hahaha

I will make sure you are accepted! The game is pretty fun but kind of getting sad as I am getting closer to the end than I would have hoped already, but still a lot of little things to clean up, I am at 96/100 signs, 8/9 barn finds and a couple PR stunts that I just cannot seem to get lucky on!

Yeah definitly thanks! I do like how it has the sort of "need for speed" feel to it, love the free roam, love how you can do engine swaps too haha!

Have not played Horizon for a few days but only have the race against Darius to beat and I am done the story, just need a few online achievements to hit the 1000.

Looks like the Porsche expansion pack is half price this week for Forza 4 (800 msp) if anyone is tempted to pick it up and work on that part of the game!
