  • Bets Brake Pads / Rotors?

I need to replace the pads on my B7 S4, and am looking for something with low dust that still retains some good stopping power. I've been looking at the Hawk HPS pads. The existing pads create a ton of dust, which is a pain with the existing BBS CH's.

At the same time I'm also thinking of upgrading to new rotors. Anyone have thoughts or suggestions?

I have StopTech branded pads on my S4 and love them...

I've heard good things about hawk pads and Zimmerman rotors

Adams rotors on audizine are also quite popular with good reviews

I ran Hawk pads on my b5 S4 and there is a lot of dust still. However they are amazing pads and definitely worth putting on if you want the stopping pad. I have run ceramic pads now, way less dust but the stopping is not as good as the hawk.

If you want very little dust and maintain good stopping power, check out Akebono pads.

I have heard and read great reviews

Hawk HPS are quite dusty and noisy I find, but they work good. I think next time I will search for another pad that's a little quieter and less dusty, but I don't think there are many other options with my Cayenne calipers.

Im not sure of what you consider dust build up but i had Hawk HPS and they produced next to no dust and no noise but have a bit more stopping power than OEM, I had PBR Deluxe which also were nice and quiet, low dust and decent stopping power.

Now I have Hawk HP+ and they produce a lot of dust, after washing my wheels and driving home they look like i went on a dirt road when i get home, and noise varies but is loud majority of the time if you do not brake with mild to firm pressure on pedal, BUT the stopping power for a street friendly pad is A++
