  • Ace Detailing??

Does anyone have any experience with this company for car detailing?

There’s a great deal on Dealfind today for a complete car package but wondering if it’s worth it or not and how good ACE Detailing is. I dont want to take my car in to see its been scratched up or interior damage.
Here’s the deal. Any information is greatly appreciated.

I picked one up. They are swamped right now and you can only do online bookings. They only have three people doing the actual cleanings. So, needless to say, they were not prepared for the huge influx. The earliest I could book one was for the beginning of November.

I saw that booking was into Nov so i passed on this deal. I get daily deals emailed to me everyday so I'm not worried that I didnt pick this up. Let me know how their work after you get it cleaned. Im curious to know.

Yeah, got the dealicious one for 160. Figured I'll use it more next spring & summer, but will try to get my money's worth. I'll post a review after I get it done in November.

              Re: Ace Detailing??

This is a public service announcement...

Ok, so I was in there today....to all...runaway!!

They are terrible. Zero experience or knowledge of how they should be doing their job.

They took out my S4 monster mats and they almost threw away the fasteners. If I hadn't pointed them out, they were going in the trash.

I don't know what they did exactly, but swirls all over my paint job.

              And to top it off...

They had it parked on an incline and the guy couldn't work the clutch very well because he comes in to apologize saying he has hit another car with mine. Bumper damage and broken washer nozzle. The other car has a cracked bumper. Couldn't get the owner of the place to talk to either myself or the owner of the other car (on the phone since the guy wasn't at the shop). Called our insurance companies and they will handle it.

Overall just an awful experience. Oh well...Off to the body shop next week and the insurance company can deal with the headache.

              So, everyone, STAY AWAY!

Wow Rod...unbelievable, I was stunned reading your review!

Just a heads up for others reading this thread...I had my car done by Jed at Mobile Reflections this past Monday...I was completely happy, he is a true professional and really knows what he is doing, he was able to correct 99% of my paint issues. We're lucky to have him in this province!

When I saw the deal I thought it was too good to be true too. Horrible to hear that there are companies out there and thats how they run their business.

Hopefully it all works out for you.

                        Re: Ace Detailing??

Meh, I'm sure everything will be fine in the long run. I might even get a new bumper out of it.

But in the mean time, yes paint will look like crap.

Oh well. I'll keep you updated on how they respond. The guy does have a business licence so he has insurance (supposedly). But again, my insurance is looking after it.

Sounds like the worst $160 ever spent. Not like you knew what would happen before hand though. Will they give you some type of refund since you will never use them again? It seems like these service deals from dealfind are hit or miss. My wife found one for some yard work, the normal fertilize and aerate type deal. Well the guy did a good job so we signed up to get the summer and winter package done. Well he showed up for the summer stuff but never did $uck all for winterizing. Can't even get through on this cell as it goes right to voice mail which is of course full.
