  • My Euro Vacation: Frankfurt Motor Show

Was At the show yesterday. Un-friggin-real. It still blows me away how much coin the car companies spend at this thing. The pavilions they have are amazing. BMW definitely spent a boatload. I'm still dreaming of an M5 in my driveway!

The Autobahn trip from Munich to Frankfurt and back was momentus. Didn't have a Porsche or Benz... but our Audi A6 3.0 TDI had no problem keeping up with the big boys. Gotta love that diesel grunt!

Anyhow, will post up pics when I'm back in Calgary in a few days. Off to Oktoberfest tomorrow!

No kidding! You could definitely fit the Calgary show inside the VAG Pavillion, the Audi and BMW ones had tracks on the second level and had their cars zooming around all day long so that you could see them in action and the Benz stand is about 4 stories high. It's nuts!

Sadly, pics will have to wait til Monday AM when back in Calgary... no way to get the photos from my iPhone to my iPad right now. Haha... imagine that. LOL

              Cheers all...

Get too the tents early, like 10am early. It's so hard to find a spot for drinking. Also, pork knuckle(forgot what's it's really called) sooo good. Pictures are a must too. I lost my camera when I went..too many beers I guess haha.

Here's the first batch. Enjoy! The last 2 are our Audi Diesel and my sh*t-eating grin on the way up via Autobahn.

Correct. Here's the last of the shots from Frankfurt. Will have to start new thread for the Munich BMW ones.
