        Man thats brutal. He and other put alot of time and money into that thing.

        I wonder how insurance is going to handle this one.

        I did some searching (about the race) and there are some other nice cars that got wrecked so far (different accidents)

                insurance doesn't cover you in a race (or on a race track) so thats going to be out of pocket

                    Mike Boldt was quoted in the article.

                    Also says "Car is not destroyed, just a little water logged, and has a broken headlight". How exactly do you not pump water into your cylinders when you go into the ocean?

                    Laughing pretty good at this, such a coincidence we were talking about this thing in the hotness thread this morning.

                      car might not be destroyed due to impact but salt water + electronics is going to mean its going to be a ***** to get that all sorted out

                          carbon fibre, so repairs of the body aren't actually too bad. engine is aluminum block however.
