Found this on Weather Network from yesterday. I got caught in it on the way home from work yesterday afternoon. The hail was getting a little on the big side, but no damage to my car. Have a friend who has a few pretty good dings in his truck though. My only loss was my rhubarb...

Pics on Calgaryherald website show some pretty nuts weather. Thank gawd I'm outta town. Heard 1 guy actually died after being washed away by a flash flood. Crazy stuff!!!

just thunder and 20minutes of hard rain in airdrie i saw golf ball hail on Facebook from friends in the south tho

What a summer for weather so far...thats atleast 3 mesocyclone clouds in the last month and a half...my buddy Matt is an amature storm chaser, and is LOVING it!!!

Ruined my mofuggin' BBQ.

Actually it was wild, while I heard the flash flooding downtown was intense, up at my buddies place in the NW we got hit pretty hard too.

Got about 2 mins of heavy rain then it was sunny again in the deep SW

Our building got pounded by hail, and the streets looked like a blizzard as cars had to drive through inches of hail. Went to my Mom's on Saturday and 24hrs after the storm they still had un-melted piles of hail in the shady parts of their yard.
