I have been waiting for a package for the past 2 days, the FedEx site claimed it was out for delivery yesterday. At 8pm I phoned and spook to a rep, he apologized and lied to me, saying it hadn't been received at the Calgary facility yet. the rep promised it would be out for delivery first thing in the AM today.
FF today, I am working from home again waiting for my package. Just for giggles I check the FedEx site, guess what, my package has been delivered and signed for by Elori. that would be great if I knew who Elori was.
The package was sent with signature required status, so FedEx somehow messed up the delivery address (which I confirmed with them), the name of recipient and apparently signature required just means anyone who feels like signing can do so.
I spoke to the local FedEx manager, he first told me they could not retrace where they had left the package, then he called me back and told me that the driver recalls where he left it and will retrieve it (unconfirmed) and deliver between 12-1, he assured me that the driver is very reliable (not in my eyes)
The kicker is that when I asked about insurance against a possible lost package, he told me that because the package was signed for it is no longer their responsibility, therefore no insurance. WTF WTF WTF
How can a single company employee so many incompetent individuals, and what evil god conspired to have them all work on delivering my package.
Did I mention that it is actually 3 separate packages with 3 separate tracking numbers, 3 signatures required. Total weight of 90lbs, not exactly a throw and go
